2019 National TB Conference

The National TB Controllers Association (NTCA) and the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) are co-sponsoring the 2019 National TB Conference: Innovate, Implement, Impact. The conference is scheduled for April 23-26, 2019, and will be held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia. APHL’s conference for TB laboratorians, The Evolution of TB Diagnostics, will be conducted on April 23-24. All TB laboratorians are encouraged to stay for the conference sessions on April 25-26.

Registration is open. The online platform provides for full-conference, one-day, APHL conference only, and APHL/NTC registrations. For questions about which registration path best meets your interests, please email Sherry Brown. Pre-conference and post-conference meetings are included in the registration fees, so please consider joining us, as your schedule permits.

For hotel accommodations, conference planners reserved a block of rooms at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis for $152 per night, the federal government rate. The reservation deadline was March 22, 2019.

Overflow Hotel Information
As of March 25, if you have not booked your accommodations for the conference, we need to alert you that the room block at the Marriott Marquis is fully booked. However, overflow rooms are available at the Hotel Indigo at the same conference rate of $152/night plus tax. This rate is available through April 12. To receive this conference rate, please make your reservation by April 12.

For TB programs receiving cooperative agreement funding, the CDC Division of TB Elimination has provided a letter signed by OGS regarding PS15-1501 recipients’ attendance at the 2019 NTCA conference.

Abstracts were due on February 1, 2019. The opening reception on April 23 includes a poster discussion session.
