TRAINING: Baltimore TB Update

WEBINAR: TB Case Management for Nurses

Notes: This interactive online course consists of three live web-based sessions. It will address specific aspects of TB case management from a nursing perspective using a case-based approach. The format will include videos, brief lectures, discussion boards, etc. Topics include cultural competency, assessing and improving adherence, TB contact investigations, working with special populations, and incorporating nurse case management skills as part of patient-centered TB care. Notes: This five-day intensive course will familiarize the clinician and healthcare worker with all the aspects of tuberculosis infection, disease and clinical care using an interdisciplinary and interactive approach. The curriculum is provided through lecture and interactive case management sessions. The faculty is selected for their unique skill in encouraging interaction and building rapport with participants.
